Mirrix is an immersive experience in the shape of a 7 metres planetarium in the shape of an inflatable dome, with software developed by Jarno Burger (based on the theory of Paul Burke) and visuals by Alyster (which explores [inter]active entities and its impact on the viewer). Additonally, Alyster and Jarno would like to invite you, the visitor, to explore the possibilities of the dome: it can be a platform for VJ's and the Demoscene.
We are in active development using different tools and peripherals to explore the possibilities of a planetarium format, among which is the use of an EEG device which can read brainwaves, a sensor which can see hand gestures, and several other implementations.
Below is a collage of several processes we are and have been going through to get to the polished result we currently have.
